Job Summary: Responsible for the day-to-day operation of the SIS Division. Accountable for planning, organizing and directing the achievement of the volume and profit objectives. Prepares program budgets, handles logistics and interviews and supervises employees. 

Responsibilities: 

• Develop, recommend, implement, and monitor annual and strategic service plan and budgets to ensure profitable growth and return on investment. 
• Structure, staff, develop, evaluate and motivate the North America SIS organization to ensure the competency, capability, continuity, and productivity of human resources which are required for achievement of the operating objectives.
• Ensures compliance with Corporate and Division policy as well as Legislation with regard to the employee work place. Monitor and report on instituted programs and practices to minimize work related injuries and illnesses, employee lost time, and worker's compensation costs.

Rope Access Services operations Manager - South.Korea

Main Purpose 

To oversee the safe and efficient running of rope access operations on site and to assist in the planning of projects and co-ordination of resources where appropriate. Maintain Rope Access Operational Procedures and ensure all legal obligations are adhered to. Promote the company within the industry and represent the company within IRATA. Identify innovation and industry developments at an early stage to ensure the company remains ahead of its competitors within the sector.

Principal Tasks

- Planning and resourcing of rope access site operations in Korea
- To manage a team of Operations Supervisors (including subcontractors) including monitoring and authorization of weekly timesheets and expenses, conduct regular staff appraisals and assist senior management with disciplinary matters
- To liaise with the Client where appropriate
- To promote safe working practices, ensure full implementation and compliance with the NOV policies and procedures
- To audit and inspect on-site procedures to the stipulated frequencies
- Authorize Method Statements and Risk Assessments
- Assist Senior Management and Commercial support in the preparation of tenders and quotations
- Undertake sufficient number of on-site duties to maintain existing competencies

- Liaise with the Stores Supervisors to ensure that all required checks are up to date and records are kept in a tidy and consistent manner

-To ensure the efficient and profitable operation of the rope access business unit
-To identify and develop profitable new business opportunities
-Oversee the planning and organization of appropriate allocation of resources
-Through regular site visits, ensure all working procedures, practices and systems are followed
-Ensure projects are completed to deadlines
-Assist with preparation of management and departmental budget
-To establish and maintain IRATA accreditation for the company, in accordance with the standards set by IRATA in the latest editions of IRATA docs: General Requirements and International Code of practice. 
-Carry out pre-job screening, competency checks and analysis of rope access personnel. 
-Manage the technical and safety issues of equipment and Rope Access related procedures.

Personal Requirements

Essential
- Minimum 8-10 years Rope Access experience
-Current Level III certification
- Previous managerial/LIII Supervisory experience in a similar capacity.

Desirable
- BSc / BEng /Diploma Engineering (or similar)

Overview:

We are looking for motivated and qualified Rope Access Team Leaders/Safety Supervisors to help manage our growing rope access program in South Korea. 

Team Leaders/Safety Supervisors will be required to actively lead field operations with fellow rope access technicians in several environments, including but not limited to: derrick structures, and equipment installation. On a broader scale, the Team Leader will have the opportunity to help grow and manage the business across a variety of customers and related industries. 

With demonstrated success, the Team Leader will be asked to take on more project management and administrative responsibilities and field oversight of safety, customer service, equipment, and company policy/procedure compliance. The person holding this position is expected to maintain primary residence in the United Kingdom, Singapore or others. Reasonable access to an international or regional airport is helpful.
Primary Responsibilities 
• Serve as a Level 3 Rope Access Safety Supervisor as defined by IRATA and carry out project management and other administrative duties as required; 
• Ensure NOV-SIS / Rope Access safety and professional standards are consistently being met; 
• Lead and manage the local safety, quality and regulatory process; 
• Communicate and coordinate with NOV project managers and customers to maintain consistent workflow and customer satisfaction;
• Provide or arrange on-the-job training, mentoring and assessment of team members and equipment; 
• Support business development and recruiting activities to grow the business and retain existing customer base.
Minimum Qualifications
• Level 3 IRATA Certified Rope Access Supervisor preferably with some added HSE qualification

OCTG –Operations Supervisor – Fulltime, Baku Azerbaijan facility:

Nov-Tuboscope is one of the leading inspection companies in the world and is looking for a highly experienced Operations Supervisor/Manager, with at least 5 - 10 years of related experience, for the Onshore Inspection Division in Baku. Job Responsibilities


• Direct and daily reporting to the General Manager with the Inventory Controller assistants.

• Manage all post machine shop visual inspection on Tubular returned from machine shop.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards within the pipe yard
• Review and sign off on Inspection reports, Work Order Job sheets, customer CTX cost sheets and supporting documentation
• Draft Customer Quotation in line with current commercial trends and send to Operations Coordinator and GM for review.
• Conduct periodic auditing and assessment of NDT & Inspection personnel on and at Customer work sites

Company Requirements & Qualifications -


• 5 to 10 years OCTG experience in a yard or site environment ideally in a supervisory capacity.
• Competent and conversant in the use of all MS Office platforms.
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills.
• Excellent command of English, with Azeri/Russian languages would be advantageous.

Lead Lifting Gear Inspectors – Brazil Rotation

We require 2 LGI Inspectors to undertake the thorough examination and where applicable proof load testing of lifting equipment, machines and appliances, onshore and offshore as required by company operations and in accordance with company procedures, instructions and industry best practice.

Undertake 6 & 12 monthly LGI & Drilling Tools on MODU’s.

To complete digitised examination, test and remedial action reports in accordance with company requirements.

You will be required to work with local workforce leading and directing as required. The rotation is 5 & 5 weeks.

A minimum of 3 years continuous experience of LGI on Drilling Units is essential. 

Must be computer literate and able to operate data base, for which training will be given.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Lifting: LEEA Part 1 group 1 (Min.)
• NDT: ASNT Level II MPI; LPI 
• IRATA: Level 1 (preferred)

An exciting opportunity has arisen due to continued expansion for an Onshore Lifting Equipment Inspector. Duties & Responsibilities 
As an Inspection Engineer your duties will consist of but are not limited to;
- To ensure all plant and equipment on the designated platform is inspected and certified in accordance with approved plans.
- Control and co-ordinate all inspection activities in accordance with the terms of the contract, ensuring regular feedback to the client and Lead Engineer based onshore.
- Ensure that overall, inspection and certification of plant and equipment on the designated platform complies with requirements of appropriate standards, Approved criticality procedures and statutory requirements, to ensure continued integrity and plant availability.
- Participate in all strategy RBA reviews to assist in the development of inspection programmes and where necessary develop detailed plans, programmes and workscopes.
- Undertake all agreed offshore inspections, ensuring they are implemented and completed as scheduled either directly or arrange and supervise company employed contractors on a continual basis at offshore arrival, daily briefings and de-mobilisation. Ensuring the contractor understands the workscope, the associated risks and that the work is completed and reported as specified in the workscope.
- Submit inspection reports, to the Lead Inspection Engineer, of all inspections completed directly by the Offshore Inspection Engineer or company employed contractors. Where relevant the reports are to include supporting information, documentation and NDT reports.
- Ensure that all inspection activities are conducted in accordance with the recommended company operating procedure and inspection routine
- Liaise with Ops Support Engineer to ensure support services are provided for inspection activities.
- Update client MMS with inspection frequencies from RBA’s.
- Liaise with the client and the Lead Engineer to discuss anomalies through the IQ process, determine the remedial action supported by company piping and structural engineers.
- Review Asset specific operational reports, plans and identify events likely to impact on the inspection and corrosion monitoring programs.
- Progress inspection reports, remedial orders etc and update SAP inspections
- Support the Lead Engineer in assessment of problems both technical and operational by sourcing information, progressing actions, notification of actions etc.
- Attend planning meetings accordingly.
- Management of and reporting on overdue surveys and deferrals. 

Qualifications 
Degree/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent,
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Experience of working in a similar role.
Able to produce reports.
Experience in the field of plant and equipment in- service inspection.
Able to demonstrate working knowledge of design, manufacturing, materials, corrosion, welding, codes, standards and legislation associated with the in- service inspection of plant and equipment.
Familiar with QA/QC practices and NDT techniques.

Duties include:

We are looking for Weld Inspectors to offer weld inspection services on a number of new build projects in the power, nuclear and oil & gas industries. A strong background in this environment is essential for these roles.

Roaming/Resident Inspectors 
These inspectors are required to visit supplier sites where fabrication for the project is occurring or as a resident inspector on the supplier site (Dunfermline, Cambridge, Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool). The positions will then move on site to Sellafield for inspection during the construction phase of the project.

A multi discipline Coatings inspector is required for onshore and offshore inspection duties.

Applicants should be computer literate, be able to write comprehensive inspection reports, have customer facing skills, good decision making and management/supervisory skills, have experience of supervision of on site blasting and coating operations and equipment.

We are looking for QA/QC Managers with the following responsibilities: 
-Advising the overall site manager 
-Monitoring the performance of weld inspections and nondestructive examinations
-Coordinating and driving the compilation of technical site documentation
-Coordinating and monitoring document control
-Maintaining direct contact with the customer’s designated representative
-Coordination with third party organizations in acceptance testing

Applicants must have an engineering degree, at least 10 years experience in manufacturing of power plant components (preferentially CCPP), knowledge of materials such as P 91, P 22, including welding procedures and NDT. 

The assignments will be long term (2 to 3 years). The assignments will start between April 2006 and October 2006. 

Payment and working conditions will be interesting. Depending on the location the day rate will be between 450 and 540 US$ plus expenses. Accommodation will be in site camps. Working language will be English, or German for some German projects. We will only accept highly qualified applicants.
